Technical Route Resources

There are technical flyers, videos and posters in this section. The technical flyers have evolved over a three year period from collaborative working with learners, employers and providers. The support resources are aligned with the new technical routes to help providers navigate effectively and meet the need of learners.

The technical flyers map skills and knowledge across the 15 technical routes with communication and calculation cross referenced to GCSE maths and English. These simple to use resources have proved highly effective and very popular with learners and provider staff. Receiving a very positive response from employers, the providers are using the technical flyers for IAG as well as on programme learning. Due to high demand and versatility the new flyers are also being mapped to functional skills in addition to GCSE’s.

There are 50 in production with 30 technical flyers available to access now on this site, plus videos and posters highlighting calculation and communication skills in job roles to promote the importance of maths and English skills in the workplace.
